Bloom Day - March 2010

Bluebonnet

Bluebonnets
(Please ignore the giant weed)

Strawberry

Missouri Violet.
I picked this up at the Garden Bloggers field trip last fall. I've completely ignored it.
It is still in the plastic bucket w/out a touch of water or protection from the cold.
I'm really loving this flower!

Shasta Daisies

Society Garlic

Sweet Alyssum

Tulips - Don't remember the variety
This is the second year and they look much better this year than last.

I need to post signs throughout my garden with that exact phrase: "Please ignore the giant weed." Happy GBBD!

Yes, me, too! Those dandelions are crazy this year. Love the pictures. The clusiana tulips will keep on multiplying every year. I especially like the silvery gray foliage.

Thanks for making me feel better about the weeds :)

Thanks for the tip on the tulips, how great to have them multiply. They are my absolute favorite flower.

Watch out for those shasta daisies. They spread like crazy and can regenerate from teeny bits of root left in the ground. They are pretty, though.

Thanks for the tip Angie. They are already double the size from a month ago, so I'm definitely believing you. :)
